You never know where God is going to take you! I had a conversation at a recent Holiday Craft Show that led to a meet-and-greet with local Christian Book Shop, Kern’s Christian Book & Supply. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to meet the local bookstore owners, who have graciously accepted my books among their Children’s selections.  

I spent some time getting to know the store, which displays a beautiful Christmas Wonderland you will want to take advantage of. Following my walk around, I had the opportunity for a quick social media video. I will not lie; the butterflies immediately began jumping around my tummy at the invitation! But I set my fears aside and went for it. You can hear the jitters in my voice, but you also know that it is authentic and unrehearsed! I have begun the writing process for what I hope will be the sequel to Bella’s Beautiful Miracle! I am heavily researching everything there is to know about my new group of bug characters. As the research wraps up, I will begin the phase of staring at a blank computer screen until God begins to feed me dialogue.

All kidding aside, I am ready for this journey and any challenges it may bring. I know I am answering God’s call to use the written word and fictional characters to shine His light and love onto our youth and their families.
