Winter Wonders and Grey Sky Woes

Published by

on

Gazing out my window today, I see grey skies and windy conditions, God’s offering. The weather app shows warmer temperatures, but the wind has won the battle, making it feel much colder. I have embraced most of this winter season, partly because I missed two months of last winter. This year feels like a gift, and I don’t want to miss a moment of all God has given me, including the snowflakes.

A part of me, though, feels a little woeful when the skies are grey. To brighten the mood and my view, I gaze at the swaying tree limbs and picture the robins, who will gather twigs for their nest in a few months. Like me, they will embrace the spring in gratitude for all God has given them.

In between catching snowflakes, I have received many wonderful blessings throughout the beginning of this new year. A new friend, a fantastic retreat week, wonderful book signings, cherished conversations, and family love have been sunshine on the cold grey days. All in all, my winter has been wonderful!

Winter Wonders and Writing Updates

On the writing side of things, I am in the beginning stages of writing my next book! Answering God’s call to write is both exciting and traumatic. Following the events of last January, I often second-guessed my abilities. However, I am confident He will see me through it since He has brought me to it!

My notes have been compiled, I have outlined new characters, and active writing has begun. I would love it if you have read Bella’s Beautiful Miracle comment below and tell me which characters you want to see again in this next book. If you have not read Bella’s Beautiful Miracle, click here and purchase your copy today.

I have published some new articles with Catholicmom.com and the Catholic Writers Guild. You can find them on the contributing author articles tab. Published articles are listed, with the most recent at the top.

I was blessed to chat with podcast interviewer Maria Morera Johnson about my newest book, Bella’s Fruitful Adventure. The interview aims to introduce the Catholic Mom contributing writers and their works. Check it out; click here.

Be sure to read new reviews for Bella’s Fruitful Adventure, located on the home page. Reviews on Amazon or Goodreads are valuable sources for getting your favorite books in front of more people. If you haven’t already, please consider posting your review today.

Upcoming Events
